This morning everyone gathered around as Chris went over morning annoucements to get everyone caught up and cover what we have going on this week and in upcoming weeks!

Augustus Marketing recognizes...Bailie Brock!

This week we wanted to take a moment to recognize our hard working HR Intern!  She is finishing up her internship this week and we appreciate all the work she has done this past semester.  We wish her the best while finishing her studies at THE Ohio State University!  Get to know her!

Hi, my name is Bailie Brock. I attend Ohio State and I’m majoring in psychology. I really enjoy communicating with others which has lead me to find interest in Human Resources. I’m excited to start as an intern at AMI.


Augustus Marketing Inc: What attracted you to the Augustus Marketing team?
Bailie: I read that it was a great atmosphere and the job description had what I was looking for.

AMI: Favorite sports team?
B: Ohio State.

AMI: Favorite movie genre?
B: Comedies.

AMI: Go-to karaoke song?
B: Sweet Caroline.

AMI: 5-year career plan?
B: Finishing graduate school for Human Resources and getting a job in my field.

Augustus Marketing Travels to Scottsdale, Arizona

Last week Augustus Marketing Top Junior Partner, Pat White, had the opportunity to travel to a warmer climate to learn more about team building, training techniques, and improving mentor relationships.

Pat traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona for the weekend to attend a networking event and explore Scottsdale as a reward for his recent accomplishments and hard work.

At the training event, Pat got to spin the wheel in a Wheel Of Fortune themed game and even won a cash prize.

Pat's visit not only helped him improve his professional career goals, but he also had fun and got to network himself with other young professionals during his trip.

AMI in the Shoe for Ohio State vs Michigan!!

The setting is Game Day.  The Day of the Ohio State v Michigan game.  If you have never been on the Ohio State University Campus on this day it is seriously crazier than anything you will ever experience and should be on your bucket list.  This year the game and atmosphere were especially intense due to the importance of the game with Ohio State ranked 2 and Michigan ranked 3 in the national polls.  Scarlet and Gray is everywhere and the cheering of Buckeye fans echo throughout the entire city! Once in the stadium you can feel the passion for the buckeyes and hear nothing over the fans' screams during the game.

Our CEO, Chris was lucky enough to get two tickets to this game and Pat earned himself the second ticket by setting the pace and working hard in the office.  Chris, born outside of Boston is living in the city of Columbus for the first time this year and experiencing his first Columbus Buckeye season. Although to be honest, his grandmother did attend The Ohio State University so he had some knowledge of the level of passion Buckeye fans have and it was one of the reasons he choose to open his business in the great city of Columbus!  But, to attend THE GAME and experience it first hand is indescribable. Not born, not raised, but now a Buckeye fan at heart.

We all know at this point how the game turned out; the double overtime win was the best game, in my completely biased opinion, to be watched in years!  

Congrats to Pat on earning the ticket and the experience of a lifetime.  Experiences like this are why we love our city, the Buckeyes, and work so hard to take care of our team here at AMI!
